Godfather of Soul

I flipped by the news for half a moment to hear the quick run on the top stories, and first heard an upcoming special rememberance... I can't believe James Brown is gone .

Actually, it was only sometime this year when I realised he was still around. And who could blame me? Well okay, obviously I wasn't up with the times, but wow what a life. Seventy-three after all that he accomplished is pretty darned amazing. And, still going strong. What a fantastic life from great man, I wish I would've gotten the chance to see him perform, I suppose I shoulda been born a few years earlier.
